Then you'll love OZCON.


OZCON is an invitation-only, small conference for Australia-based founders. OZCON is intentionally small, inviting less than 20 founders each year. More of a "retreat," OZCON encourages you to be yourself and simply enjoy getting to know other business founders.

Do I need to know how to ski or snowboard?

Nope! No matter your skill level, you are welcome. Whether you're a total beginner and want to take lessons or can shred it with the best of them, the point is to have fun and be in great company. 


We do ask every attendee to take part in all activities, including skiing/ snowboarding. So if you're not a pro on the snow yet, this is your chance to be open and learn with new friends.

It's more than just skiing or snowboarding, it's the meaningful conversations and insights that come with a shared experience.

Accommodations

You'll be staying at The Rees Hotel in Queenstown (4.5 on Tripadvisor) in a large Lakeview chalet or apartment. You can choose to be in your own bedroom, or in a shared a room with your own bed (two single beds per room, single gender). Rooms are spacious and comfy. Rooms/beds will be assigned before arrival.

Everyone's needs are different, so these things are on you.

Equipment Rental

If you need to rent your own gear, you can rent them directly from our accommodations. Free delivery & pick up is included. We'll give you a link!

Flights & Airport Transfers

You'll arrange your flights to and from Queenstown and make your way to The Rees Hotel at arrival and departure.

Ski/ Snowboard Lessons

If you are new to snow sports and want to join a group lesson, you'll be able to organize that at the ski resort.

Daily Lunches

You're free to enjoy a quick (or slow) lunch on the slopes on your own dime. There are plenty of options to choose from.

OZCON is small for a reason. As attendees we all agree to keep the conversations we have at OZCON within the group. We ask all attendees to not share talks, discussions or any information shared during the event, outside the event. This friendly NDA allows us to all be open and honest, and have the most beneficial experience possible.

We ask all attendees to participate in all activities and sessions. The #1 piece of feedback we get each year, is how much fun and value attendees get from casual conversations throughout the event.

OZCON is an invite-only event. The magic of OZCON is in the dynamic of people that attend each year. This is why the attendees are curated by the organizers themselves. If you have attended OZCON before and would like to suggest a founder to attend, contact us.

Ticket Price

The OZCON experience and everything that is included is $6,200 AUD for a shared room ticket and $7,000 AUD for a solo room ticket. There are only 6 solo room tickets available.

Spots are extremely limited. There are no refunds.

Being a huge snowboarding fan, this trip instantly drew me in. It was well planned out so I knew it would be fun no matter what.

We're Omar Zenhom and Nicole Baldinu! We're Sydney-based founders of both WebinarNinja and The $100 MBA Show podcast.

We started OZCON because we noticed that there are so many great business founders in Australia, but we didn't have the chance to get to know them on a deeper level. We were hungry for a retreat for business founders right here in Australia.

So we said, "Let's create it ourselves!"

Our goal is to create a space for founders to have fun and meaningful memories with other interesting business owners- without having to fly 14+ hours. Our aim is to have everyone to go home with a new perspective, not jet-lag.
